The house is just perfectly furnished and thought through down to the last detail. It is wonderfully relaxing to end the evening in the hot tub and listen to the birds singing. Since it is currently the breeding season, the black godwit and alpine grouse families and their offspring also come waddling by. Due to the good location of the house, you can go on many interesting day trips. In addition to the compulsory program of the geyser area, the Gullfoss and Thingvellir, a trip to the Sólheimajökull glacier tongue and Cape Dyrhólaey with its puffin colonies is recommended to every visitor. For us, a breathtaking 18 days in Iceland are coming to an end and it is already clear: We will also come back to Iceland a third time and also to Gimli! «
