Can I see the Northern Lights from the holiday house?
Yes, often!
The Northern Lights (aurora borealis) can be seen across Iceland, and staying in a holiday house away from town lights gives you a good chance of a clear view right from your door. They are usually visible from late August to April, on clear, dark nights when aurora activity is high. There is never a guarantee, as it depends on the weather and on solar activity, but many guests enjoy them during the darker months. You can check the aurora forecast at icelandatnight.is
