This beautifully furnished holiday home called Bláskógur is centrally located in South Iceland, making it ideal for sightseeing in this part of the country.

The owners maintain the house lovingly, and a lot of attention to detail has been put into the decoration. It has two bedrooms, each with a double bed. The kitchen is well equipped and you won't miss anything if you want to cook. The kitchen is also part of the open living room, which has a TV. There is also an internet connection that you can use as you wish. Bathroom with a toilet and a shower.

The 60 sqm terrace offers a fantastic view of the mountains in the distance. The hot pot invites you to relax. Of course, the obligatory gas grill is not missing. Icelanders love to grill. Here you will find everything you need for your Icelandic holiday experience. Parking is in front of the house.

Laugarvatn is in Árnessýsla, on the shore of the shallow lake of the same name. Around 200 people live there; the village grew around the boarding school and is now a regular stop on the Golden Circle, close to Þingvellir National Park, Geysir, Gullfoss and Skálholt.

It has a small grocery store, restaurants, a gas station, a swimming pool, a sauna, horse riding and a golf course. There are also several geothermal hot springs along the lakeshore, and boats can be hired for trips on the lake.
