The big terrace offers beside a fantastic mountain panorama, a gas grill and garden furniture. Sit in one of the chairs and enjoy a relaxing moment while taking in the picturesque view and breathing in the fresh forest smell.

The main settlement is Sólheimar with ca 100 inhabitants, an eco-village known for its ecological, artistic, and international community ethics. Grímsnes is a great location for excursions in South Iceland. It is on the popular Golden Circle route and from there it is only 40 km to Geysir and 50 km to Gullfoss.
