Munaðarhóll is a large two-storey house with a beautiful setting. You will love the stunning views of Lake Þingvallavatn and access to sauna and hot pot. You are practically in Þingvellir National Park, where the world's first parliament was held. Just 40 minutes away you have reached the highlights of the Golden Circle, the golden waterfall Gullfoss and Geysir.
The three-bedroom house is very well maintained and elegantly decorated. The kitchen is modern and has excellent facilities, including a microwave and dishwasher. The living room is stunning, with a beautiful fireplace and a fantastic view of the lake. There is the possibility of a 4G internet connection in the house and you will find a TV, DVD and radio / CD. Here you have everything you need to really relax. Bathroom: toilet / bath. On the ground floor there is a washing machine and a shower room if you want to enjoy the sauna.
You will have a pleasant time on the terrace, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the open air or a delicious Icelandic barbecue on the gas grill. If you are lucky, you can see the Northern Lights in the dark hours. Private parking with a charger in front of the house.

Lake Þingvallavatn is within walking distance, and Þingvellir National Park is nearby. The park is where the Alþing, Iceland's historic parliament, met from the 10th to the 18th century. It lies in a rift valley between two tectonic plates, with cliffs and fissures including Almannagjá, and walking trails throughout.
The village of Laugarvatn is about a 30 km drive away, in Árnessýsla, on the shore of the shallow lake of the same name. Around 200 people live there; the village grew around the boarding school and is now a regular stop on the Golden Circle. It has a small grocery store, a restaurant, a gas station, a swimming pool, a sauna, horse riding and a golf course. There are several geothermal hot springs along the lakeshore, and boats can be hired for trips on the lake.
Geysir, Gullfoss and Skálholt are also within easy reach.
