Axarhóll in Iceland is an exquisite house in an excellent location with beautiful views.

The location of the house is perfect for trips to South Iceland and to Þingvellir, Gullfoss and Geysir.

This charming house has three bedrooms and a sleeping area in the attic. A baby cot and a high chair are available. The living room is a large open space with a kitchen corner. You have everything you need for cooking and there is also a dishwasher. The living room has a radio / CD, TV / DVD. An internet connection is possible. Bathroom with shower / toilet.

The terrace around the house is inviting and offers an undisturbed view. For the well-deserved barbecue evening there is garden furniture and a gas grill. Parking is in front of the house.

Merkurlaut is a holiday cottage area halfway between Selfoss and Flúðir. It is a good base for day trips around South Iceland.

Selfoss, about 20 km away, is the largest town in South Iceland, on the banks of the Ölfusá. With around 8,000 residents, it is a centre for commerce and small industry. There are shops, restaurants, supermarkets and an outdoor geothermal swimming pool.

Flúðir, about 30 km away, is known for its greenhouses, geothermal horticulture and proximity to Geysir and Gullfoss. The Litla-Laxá flows through the village and into the larger Hvítá, while Miðfell overlooks Flúðir. The village is also home to the Secret Lagoon, an outdoor geothermal pool.

»Leider keine Mülltrennung, Ort der Müllentsorgung ungewöhnlich weit entfernt. Ansonsten war alles vorhanden und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.«

»Schönes Ferienhaus, das ruhig, aber trotzdem nahe an der Hauptstraße gelegen ist. Das Ferienhaus hat eine sehr Große Terasse und einen schönen Wohn-/ Essbereich mit Flachbildfernseher und Wlan. (Über das Wlan darf man allerdings leider nicht streamen oder downloaden). Die Küche war bestens ausgestattet und im Bad ist eine Waschmaschine & Trockner.«
