The small wooden house Dalbær is in an excellent location for day trips in South Iceland.

Surrounded by a small forest, it invites you to take walks in the surrounding area. From the house you have a beautiful panoramic view.

The house with two bedrooms, in a pretty country house style, can accommodate a maximum of 4 people. It has a well-equipped kitchen with a microwave and dishwasher. The living room has a TV, radio/CD and a cozy fireplace that you can light if necessary.

The 60 sqm terrace is equipped with a hot tub, garden furniture and a gas grill. In the garden there is a small playground and a playhouse for children. Parking in front of the house.

The nearest village is Laugarvatn, on the shores of the lake of the same name. It has a small grocery store, restaurants, a gas station, a swimming pool, a sauna, horse riding and a golf course. There are several geothermal hot springs along the lakeshore, and boats can be hired for trips on Lake Laugarvatn.

Laugarvatn is close to many of the main sights on the Golden Circle, including Þingvellir National Park, Geysir, Gullfoss and Skálholt.

»The cottage is situated perfectly in the middle of the Golden Circle attractions. It’s in an area of older vacation homes, but it is in a very good condition. We loved its coziness on rainy days and its location on all other days.«
