This modern townhouse is located in the lovely small village of Hveragerði, known for its geothermal heated greenhouses.

Your holiday home is also just a few steps away from the only organic health and rehabilitation clinic in Iceland. Here you can book mudbaths and enjoy a meal in the organic restaurant. In the clinic, there is also an outdoor swimming pool with hot tubs.

The living quarters are spacious, and the big kitchen has all the necessary equipment, such as a microwave and dishwasher. In the bright, stylish living room there is a TV/DVD, radio/CD. In the bathroom, there is a WC/shower and also a washing machine and a dryer.

You are welcome to use the small terrace as well as the garden furniture and gas grill. In the vicinity, there are many lovely hikes. You can walk on the grounds of the clinic, and a small river is running in the not far away. There is a big parking space by the clinic where you can park your car.

Hveragerði is a town and municipality located 45 km to the south-east of Reykjavík on road nr. 1. The river Varmá runs through the town. Hveragerði is well known for its hot springs and geothermal greenhouses.

You should visit the lovely swimming pool in Laugaskarð. Due to the hot water sources gardening is a big hobby in this town and is the place to buy summer flowers for locals. It is a paradise for hikers and horse riders with marked paths and hot springs along the mountains. In town, there is an interesting exhibition on the effects of the earthquake in 2008. You will find all necessities there, such as supermarkets, gas stations and bakeries.

»Perfect. This house is amazing. We didn't want to leave. What a pity, we only booked three nights. Best location for all the many sights in the southwest of Iceland. Facilities that make it special. Perfect for up to four people. All the guests who signed the guest book were delighted and so were we. We couldn't have wished for anything more.«
