This holiday home called Krossholt is ideally located if you want to visit all the wonders of South Iceland.

During your stay in Krossholt you can try trout fishing in Lake Apavatn or buy smoked trout from the farmer in Útey, the nearest farm.

The house has three bedrooms and can accommodate a maximum of 5 people. During your stay you can use all appliances in the modern kitchen, which also has a microwave and dishwasher. In the open living corner there is a TV with local channels and a DVD player. Bathroom with shower/toilet.

Laugarvatn is a small community in South Iceland and it is an excellent location for day trips around the area. Laugarvatn is also the name the adjoining shallow lake located in the Árnessýsla region. Apavatn is a bigger lake just 2 km south of it.

You can find all kinds of services at Laugarvatn like a small grocery store, restaurant, gas station, swimming pool, sauna, horse rental and a golf course. »We loved the location with the view on the lake. A lot of privacy was very nice. The house itself was fine. Everything we needed was there and worked. Only the frying pan was ready to be replaced. The non-stick coating was worn. There where two double beds with a large mattress and the sheets we got did not fit. They where for single beds. So we needed to be creative.«
