Skjól is a beautiful holiday house in Svínadalur in West Iceland. The house has an ideal location for visiting the many historical and exciting places on Snæfellsnes peninsula and in Borgarfjörður.

This holiday house has one bedroom on the ground floor and a sleeping loft with 2 beds, but please not that the ceiling is low. The kitchen has all the equipment that you need for good cooking. The living room is beautifully decorated and has a smart TV and free WIFI. The bathroom has a WC/shower, plus in the house there is a washing machine and a dryer.

By the house, there is a 100sqm terrace with a lovely hot tub, garden furniture and a gas grill. Parking place in front of the house.

Svínadalur is located just north of Hvalfjörður fjord. Depends on from what directions you are coming from you can take one of the 2 options: 504+502 if you are coming from north of Iceland. If the scenic road #47 from Reykjavík (Hvalfjorður) is taken then you can take rout 520 towards Skorradalur and turn to left on the intersection to rode #502.

»Our children loved the upstairs-area they had to themselves. Although this has probably not been cleaned by previous guests for some time. Apart from that the House was quite clean. We loved the hot pot! And the kitchen appliances were very modern and there was everything you could wish for. The only slight downside was that the toilet-flush took forever to erfolgreich«

»We used it as a base for our excursion to Snaefaellness, and this turned out to be quiet far away. But other than that, everyting was perfectly fine. A really nice house with all the equipment needed, a wonderful hot tube, enough room for everybody and nicely locted in the middle of nowhere - exactly like we wanted it to be!!!! We definitely would stay there again!«
