Þórsstígur is a beautiful summer house in Grímsnes, in the south of Iceland.
The house is located near the 534 m high extinct volcano Búrfell. From the house you have a wonderful view over the salmon river Sog and the surrounding area.
The house has two bedrooms two bedrooms and a guest cabin with bunk bed. The kitchen has a microwave and dishwasher. The dining area is part of the living room. There is a TV, radio/CD, DVD player and WiFi. The bathroom is equipped with toilet and a shower.
The large terrace has both garden furniture and gas grill as well as a hot tub that you must try. Parking is in front of the house.

Grímsnes is a holiday cottage area in South Iceland. The municipality of Grímsnes- og Grafningshreppur was formed in 1998 when the two areas merged. Its main settlement is Sólheimar, an eco-village of around 100 people with an ecological, artistic and international community.
Grímsnes is on the Golden Circle route. Geysir is about 40 km away and Gullfoss about 50 km.
Selfoss, the largest town in South Iceland, is about 25 km to the west, on the banks of the Ölfusá. With around 11,000 residents, it is a centre for commerce and small industry. There are shops, restaurants, supermarkets and an outdoor geothermal swimming pool.
