Is there internet or Wi-Fi in the houses?
Most of our holiday houses do not have internet or Wi-Fi, so it is worth planning how you will get online during your stay.
The easiest option is usually your mobile phone. Iceland is part of the EEA (the European Economic Area, which covers all EU countries plus Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein), so visitors from EEA countries can normally use at least part of their home data allowance in Iceland without extra roaming charges, and share it with other devices.
If you would prefer a local option, or your home plan does not cover Iceland, you can buy an eSIM, for example from Nova (https://www.nova.is/english).
